Can I buy a home in Nevada while still living in California?
Yes. Many California buyers purchase a Nevada home before moving. The process involves local agent representation, lender pre-approval, and virtual or in-person tours.
Is there really no state income tax in Nevada?
Yes. Nevada has no personal state income tax, no corporate income tax, no inheritance tax, and no estate tax.
How much snow does Carson City get each year?
Carson City receives about 15 to 22 inches of snow per year on average, significantly less than Lake Tahoe or the Sierra passes.
What's the Nevada car registration process after moving from California?
You have 30 days to register your vehicle and get a Nevada license. Steps: get Nevada auto insurance, pass an emissions test, then visit the DMV with your title and documents.
